Every family has certain traditions that become much more than daily habits. They become part of the family's values, identity and way of life.
For me, one such tradition was the daily prayer practice of my mother, Late Shrimati Ansuya Jayesh Bhatt.
She would wake up early, complete her morning routine and then sit down peacefully for her daily Path. As far as I remember, this practice would usually last for about an hour. It was an important and regular part of her day—a time devoted to prayer, remembrance and devotion to God.
Her faith, devotion and discipline left a lasting impression on me.
On 20 June 2023, the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Beej, she left for her heavenly abode. This date will always hold a special place in my heart. Her memory, along with the devotion she practised every day, continues to inspire me.
The Thought Behind the Name NityaPath
The name NityaPath came naturally from my mother's daily practice.
I began to think that there must be many people and families who start their day with a prayer, a Chalisa, an Aarti, a Stotra or some form of daily Path before moving on to their everyday responsibilities.
For some, it is a family tradition. For others, it is a moment of peace, faith and connection with God.
NityaPath was born from this simple thought—to create a place that supports and encourages this everyday connection with our spiritual roots.
A Peaceful Space for Prayer in a Digital World
I also follow a regular Path myself. And like many people today, I increasingly find myself using a mobile phone to read prayers, Chalisas, Aartis and Stotras instead of referring to physical prayer books.
While looking for websites where I could comfortably do my daily Path, I often encountered the same problem: advertisements, pop-ups and unrelated content appearing in between the prayers.
I felt that when someone sits down to pray, remember God or spend a few quiet moments in devotion, that experience should not be interrupted by unnecessary distractions.
That thought led to the creation of NityaPath.
Our purpose is simple: to provide a dedicated, advertisement-free digital space where people can read and follow their daily prayers peacefully.
No advertisements in between. No unnecessary distractions. Just you, your Path and your connection with the Divine.
A Small Beginning with a Meaningful Purpose
NityaPath is more than a collection of devotional prayers. It is a small effort to preserve and carry forward our traditions, values and spiritual practices.
We hope to make it easier for people to stay connected with our prayers, scriptures, Aartis and Stotras in their everyday lives. We also hope to introduce younger generations to these traditions and help pass them on to the generations that follow.
The devotion and discipline with which my mother followed her daily Path continue to inspire this initiative.
